Blink Taxis takes data protection seriously and uses multiple layers of security to safeguard your personal information. We employ enhanced protection through Cloudflare to secure our website and encrypt all data transfers. Our web and email systems are hosted with a PCI Security Standards Council–compliant provider, ensuring industry-leading protection for sensitive data.

We also use a leading dispatch platform hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which maintains the highest standards of security and reliability in line with international compliance frameworks.

All Blink Taxis accounts are protected by strong passwords and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to prevent unauthorised access. Our systems are continuously reviewed and updated to remain compliant with GDPR and evolving data protection standards.

Blink Taxis only shares the information necessary to complete and manage your booking. Our dispatch software provider securely stores booking data, which is shared with our licensed drivers through a password-protected app to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.

We also share relevant information with our trusted payment partners, Stripe and Airpay, to process your payments securely.

Blink Taxis will never share, sell, or trade your personal data with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. All partners we work with operate under strict GDPR and data protection standards, ensuring your privacy is always protected.

Blink Taxis retains booking and journey records for a minimum of 36 months (3 years) from the date of travel. This ensures we can meet our legal, regulatory, and safety obligations, including cooperating with local authorities or law enforcement if required.

Payment and accounting records are retained for 6 years in line with HMRC requirements, while personal data such as contact details are kept only as long as necessary to manage your account or comply with applicable laws.

Once data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with GDPR and our internal data protection policies.
